Tiles, Tiles, Tiles!

Here are several tiles that I have done recently! I love tiles! They are the most in-expensive gift to make and everyone loves them! This one is from my daughter's 3rd grade fall festival. I was the lead mom for the party so I chose tiles for their craft project! They loved it! Even the boys wanted to make more! I actually gave these samples to the other moms who helped with the party. These were both made with Black Stazon, Watercolor pencils, & Blender Pens. The main stamp sets used were Autumn Harvest & Autumn Apparitions. The rest came from SU! retired set Tags & More.

The second tile was for my October stamp camp. This one was made with Autumn Harvest. The third one was a donation for the school bingo night. I included it with a catty and 10 hand made cards. I used the Jolliest Time of Year Santa. I really love this Santa!

Trying to Catch Up!

Ok - I know I am so behind as to getting this updated! I have lots of new creations to add to my blog today! I hope you like them. So I apologize for all of the different entries today!

Updating the Blog - Finally!

Yes I know, it has been a long while. I have been busy to where I haven't had a chance to update the Blog or stamp...but today, I was able to stamp some! YEAH!

I made a card for the VSN Mini - the Sketch challenge. It is a birthday card for CCRAK that I missed...so sorry Rhondag...but it will go out in tomorrows mail!

Anyway, I wanted to used the SU! 07 Colors that I have so many of from last year. I used the Cool Caribbean CS along with layers of True Thyme, Vintage Violet and Marigold Morning. And I actually used my crimper! For the recipe for the card, look at my details on my gallery at SCS... http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/701332?cat=500&ppuser=83394.

Now let's see what else I can get stamped today...if I still get a chance...I hear the baby up from a nap so it could end my fun!

Mustard Olives

I created this card for today SCS Color Combo Challenge CC133. I used the layout from last week's Sketch Challenge as well SC142. I am having a stamp camp this week and wanted to show that we can use any color combo for the Christmas season. I stamped the background on the More Mustard with the snowflakes from the Merry & Bright set in Bashful Blue (love that color). I used the Weathered background stamp on the Old Olive with the same color ink. For the image of the tree, I was going to stamp it in Old Olive but I really wanted to use the More Mustard for the garland around the tree so I decided to color the stamp with the Old Olive and More Mustard Write Markers. I used the Bashful Blue snowflakes around the tree as well. To give the tree more color I used the Blender Pen and Old Olive Ink. My fellow CCStalkers would be proud...I did use one little embellie! A silver diamond vintage brad!

This one was a fun card to make! Here is the recipe:

SU! Sets: Jolliest Time of Year, Merry & Bright, and Weathered

CS: More Mustard, Old Olive, Bashful Blue and Very Vanilla

Ink: More Mustard, Old Olive, and Bashful Blue

Accessories: Silver Diamond Vintage Brad & Blender Pen

Also, I am quite excited today because I set up everything for World Card Making Day. A local church in Bolingbrook is allowing me to use their room and I am going to donate 1/2 of the proceeds to them and the other 1/2 to Ronald McDonald House. For $5, they will get to make 5 cards for themselves and 1 card to go to Ronald McDonald House. I am hoping that it will give me some new customer leads as well as giving to a good cause!

Two New Cards Done

I am so excited...I was able to stamp some this evening after the kids went to bed. The DH was watching football so I headed to my desk and played!
The first card I did was for the SCS Featured Stamper Challenge FS33. Today they picked a Star of May who had a superb gallery! Here is the link: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=87049

Anyway, Kristen had the Merry & Bright set so I cased my card as to hers...I made some changes of course. Here is the link to here card so you can compare:
Hers is much better than mine, but I am trying! I will add her Blog to my list of fellow stampers when hers is ready. I went to look at it this evening and it is currently under construction.

The other card I did is from the SCS Color Challenge CC132...I did one earlier in the week...it is a little blurry, has issues with the camera that day...any way I had so many comments on the card I decided to do another one. I wanted to do a spooky pumpkin patch theme...here it is...

And for some reason, I can't get my cards in the order they belong...still learning! Please let me know what you think of my new creations. I am looking forward to uploading ideas I have come up with for my Christmas in September this week!
Thanks for looking!

Radical Stamper

Getting Started

This is quite new for me...telling everyone about my stamping and why I did a certain card. It is different explaining it to a customer, but now everyone can read about it. That is just a little nerve racking. My CCSCS family has talked me into starting a Blog. So I am going to try this for a while and see how it goes.

My intention is to get as many cards uploaded as soon as possible, but I am still trying to figure out the system. So thank you for visiting my blog and I will make sure to get some fun stuff added soon!
